I think this conference comes as a great time, especially in light of the MAJOR changes happening right now in the search space. Keyword domains have worked as a solid SEO tactic for years and I wonder how the change at the engines will impact the need for GOOD domains. Hi Melodie, Your marketing tactics are working great on this one! I need to learn about global branding with your domain name. Do I use keywords as a domain name which benefits your backlink profile when sites link with only your domain name as the anchor text, or do I choose a more branded type of domain name that is shorter and easier to remember.

It seems this is always going to be a tradeoff. The issue is further compounded with international sites. If I choose the keyword rout do I buy international domain names with English keywords to stay consistant or do I choose keywords in each language for the countries I am targeting which watters down my global branding?

As you can see I desperately need this conference, and the after party has nothing to do with it.
